The 10 Most Magical, All-Natural Unicorn Recipes
My daughters and I are in love with all things Unicorn especially Unicorn Food. However, most of the Unicorn Food recipes are made with lots of artificial dyes and flavorings. So I did some research and have come up with the 10 most magical, all-natural kid-friendly Unicorn Food recipes that are as healthy as they are beautiful.
This week on the blog, I’m celebrating all things UNICORN and Believe in a Cure for Breast Cancer. So of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t showcase some of my favorite healthy unicorn food ideas.
Unicorn food is sweeping the nation!
For those unfamiliar with this magical food trend, it’s where you create beautiful pastel colored concoctions of your favorite foods like Unicorn ice cream, Unicorn toast, Unicorn lattes, Unicorn energy bites, etc.
Here’s a picture of my daughter enjoying a Unicorn rainbow bagel last week.
The sky’s the limit! With a little creativity, you can turn pretty much anything in to unicorn food…even sushi! (Yes! Sushi! Keep reading for that magical recipe!)
Usually these magical treats are made with loads of food coloring (as I’m sure was the case with the unicorn bagel above—ok don’t judge! I’m definitely not perfect.)
So I’ve scoured the web to find my favorite healthy alternatives which use all natural ingredients such as spirulina, beets, or berries to achieve their magical spell.
Note—some of the recipes do use regular sprinkles, but you can certainly get all-natural sprinkles online or at your favorite health food store, and some of the recipes do use all-natural food coloring.
