I was making one of my favorite smoothies the other morning and realized that I’ve never put the recipe on my blog! Soo, without further adieu, I present to you…
I took the recipe for my Dr. Oz Weight Loss Berry Breakfast Smoothie and just added a small colander’s worth of spinach….so easy.
Here’s the recipe:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 tablespoons rice protein powder*
2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
1/4 cup frozen berries
small colander (2 handfuls) of fresh spinach
**Tip 1: The rice protein tends to taste a little grainy, so if you’re not in the mood for that (who is? haha) and are ok with adding dairy-you can substitute a cup of non-fat plain greek yogurt.
*Tip 2: I froze the other half of banana and saved it for the next day.
Add the ingredients to your blender and enjoy!
