How to Make Monstrously Fun Chocolate Big Foot Slime
This monstrously fun edible, chocolate Big Foot Slime is great for kids! Made from chocolate pudding and cornstarch, it’s safe to eat. Perfect for Big Foot or Sasquatch parties or even just creative afternoon play. Once you make it once, you’ll want to make it again and again!
Some of you might know I recently threw my daughters an End of Summer Big Foot festival in honor of their favorite summer book and movie, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.
Earlier this year, we decided this was going to be our Not Bummer Summer! We weren’t going to let a little World Wide Epidemic get us down! No Sir! We were determined to still have fun—safely and socially distant.
So we put together a Thrill Chart, just like Judy Moody did.
Held a Big Foot Race.
Made Tangerine Fondue.
And made Edible Chocolate Big Foot Slime!
How to Make Edible Chocolate Big Foot Slime
As I mentioned at the beginning, this slime was super easy to make and kept my girls and their friends entertained for quite a while. They also loved the added texture of the chocolate sprinkles which were meant to replicate Big Foot Fur.
Which is better- Jello Instant or Jello Cook and Serve better?
Since I was making this slime for 4 kids, I bought 2 of the 5 oz boxes. I wasn’t sure which was better -the cook and serve or the regular instant so I decided to try both.
The batch I made in the video used the Cook and Serve.
It came out waay more lumpy.
Then I made a second batch with the regular instant mix and it was much better.
So the pretty pictures you see with no white lumps is from the batch of the regular Jello chocolate instant pudding mix.

Steps to make Chocolate Big Foot Slime
Add the pudding mix to a large bowl.
Next, add ½ cup of cornstarch.
Then, pour in 1/3 cup warm water.
Mix together until well combined. If it’s too dry, add more water. If it’s too sticky, add more cornstarch.
When you finally have a good dough, then add the vegetable oil. Start with 1 tablespoon. Mix together. When it starts to feel springy, you know it’s just about ready. I used 2 tablespoons in my video—you can see how it springs off the bowl nicely.
