10 Empowering & Mindful Mantras for Busy Moms
Parenting during a quarantine is not always the easiest thing, in fact, it’s probably one of the hardest. So, I’ve put together “10 Empowering & Mindful Mantras for Busy Moms” to help us all get through this crazy time with as much positive energy, patience, and mindfulness as possible. This post includes a FREE MANTRA PRINTABLE and floral coloring sheet.
Earlier this month, I wrote an article on How to Help our Kids Be Brave Learners this school year.
In that article, I created a list of 10 affirmations to help our children be brave in this new normal of remote learning, hybrid learning, traditional school with socially-distanced, mask-wearing classmates, etc.

THIS ISN’T EASY FOR US MAMAS EITHER.
Finding Patience and Grace during this Non-normal New Normal
As we found out this past spring, schooling during a pandemic is NO EASY TASK.
But we can be so hard on ourselves and we always take the weight of the world on our shoulders. It’s easy to get stressed out, worrying about our kids’ education.
But we have to remember, they will be fine. The teachers have trained all summer for this new normal and things will work out.
Every child across the country is in the exact same boat.
We need to remember to go easy on ourselves and give ourselves grace and patience.
Finding Patience with our Family
Being quarantined or socially distant for months on end is hard for everyone.
We have to remember that this is not normal, even though it’s our NEW normal.
Humans are social creatures and were not meant to be isolated for this long.
Everyone is feeling the strain.
So, we have to remember to patient with ourselves and our family members.
We also have to remember that we can’t do everything and need to ask for help when we need it (from helping with household chores to even just a listening ear—reach out and ask for assistance).
10 Empowering Mantras for Moms
Here are some mantras to recite:
- I will be patient with myself and my family
- I will give myself grace.
- I will ask for help when I need it
- I will take time for Me.
- I will check in with friends
- I will focus on my goals and not distractions that I cannot control
- I will focus on progress and not perfection
- I will be flexible during times of challenge and chaos
- I will remember that we will all get through this
- I will remember that my kids will be fine because they are loved and still learning.
