When it comes to Mother’s Day celebrations, everyone does things differently. Some moms like breakfast in bed, while other’s like to bake a whole breakfast for her family and others like to take the day off and get pampered with a day at the spa.
Personally, I like to celebrate the whole weekend—Saturday is “Relaxing me time” and Sunday (on the actual holiday) is family day. So I’m always on the lookout for family-friendly programming that we can all enjoy.
Many local museums and attractions are having Mother’s Day specials, and I’ve gone ahead and compiled my Top Picks for family-friendly Mother’s Day activities here in Atlanta. And if you don’t live in Atlanta, feel free to use this list as a jumping off point for similar places in your city.

admin says
Oh I know, but the animals at the GA Aquarium are rescues! They save injured or abandoned animals that wouldn’t survive in the wild.
