Looking for a fun activity in Atlanta that the whole family can enjoy this Mother’s Day without breaking the bank?
Well, look no further, I’ve got you covered. From the ultimate touchdown at the College Football Hall of Fame to getting in touch with your wilder side at Zoo Atlanta, I’ve compiled the Top Picks for family-friendly Mother’s Day programs in Atlanta this weekend. And bonus—they’re all FREE for Mom!
When it comes to Mother’s Day celebrations, everyone does things differently. Some moms like breakfast in bed, while other’s like to bake a whole breakfast for her family and others like to take the day off and get pampered with a day at the spa.
Personally, I like to celebrate the whole weekend—Saturday is “Relaxing me time” and Sunday (on the actual holiday) is family day. So I’m always on the lookout for family-friendly programming that we can all enjoy.
Many local museums and attractions are having Mother’s Day specials, and I’ve gone ahead and compiled my Top Picks for family-friendly Mother’s Day activities here in Atlanta. And if you don’t live in Atlanta, feel free to use this list as a jumping off point for similar places in your city.
