How to Make Gorgeous No-Carve Pumpkin Succulent Planters
These gorgeous no-carve Pumpkin Succulent Planters are super easy to make and mess-free! There’s no cutting or carving or messy pumpkin insides involved. Just glue! Grab all my tips and tricks to make this beautiful pumpkin centerpiece.
Recently, I was blown away by a Facebook post a friend of mine shared.
She had created these gorgeous pumpkin planters.
They were soo pretty…I thought, “What a great addition to any harvest décor. I bet it’s super complicated.”
….but then I learned they’re actually quite easy and not messy!
Whaaat?!!!
What REALLY WOW’d me, was the fact that they’re SUPER SIMPLE to make!
There’s NO NEED for carving or cutting!!!
No messy pumpkin gooey insides to contend with.
Just simple glue gun and go!

How to Make Gorgeous No-Carve Pumpkin Succulent Planters

Materials:
- Heirloom pumpkins (they tend to last longer)
- Succulents (Try Sedum varieties if possible. They last longer).
- Glue gun
- Spray adhesive
- Moss
Instructions:
- Use the spray adhesive and apply the moss to the top of the pumpkin.
- Cut your succulents and apply them to the moss using a glue gun. This will help retain the moisture inside the foliage.
- That’s it! Easy Peasy!
- When the pumpkins start to decompose, simply pull off the moss and succulents and plant them in some soil. They will establish roots and keep growing.
- To care for the succulents, just mist them once a week or so. Be wary of extreme cold. Succulents will last longer inside.
These are great for general fall decor and even Thanksgiving Centerpieces!
