How to Create boo-tiful Pumpkin Wine Dispensers-The Ultimate List

And I know you’ll share in my excitement when I tell you that I.  Have.  Found It!

Hold on you to your pumpkin spiced lattes.

It’s the Pumpkin Wine Dispenser. Or as HGTV calls it “Hallow-Wine!”

This clever and easy to make pumpkin wine dispenser will completely wow your guests.  It’s like a jack-o-lantern, but it holds wine!

I first discovered this glorious feat of pumpkin-wine-vessel engineering on Facebook.  It was a video from HGTV.

Pretty amazing, right?

What I love about this DIY is that it’s totally doable.

All you need is a pumpkin, a wine box, and a sharpie marker. (Of course you can get very elaborate, and I’ve included some ideas below).

How to turn a pumpkin into a wine dispenser

That’s almost better than a horse drawn carriage. (Sorry, Cinderella.)

Step 1: Cut a wide circle around the stem and save to use as a lid.
Step 2: Clean out your pumpkin as you would for a traditional jack-o-latern.
Step 3: Cut out a small hole at the bottom for the wine bag spigot.
Step 4: Insert the bag from your favorite wine box and feed the spigot through the spigot hole.
Note: If you are using white wine, be sure to add a couple of ice packs.
Step 5: Place the stem back on top.
Step 6: Call over some friends and enjoy!

But first the Tips to make this DIY as easy as possible!

Tip #1:  You can decorate with paint, sharpies, or even carve your pumpkin like a traditional jack-o-latern.

Tip #2:  If you’re looking for less mess, try a faux pumpkin from your local craft store. You’ll also be able to reuse it for future parties.
