Top 15 Magical Upcycled Fairy Garden Ideas Your Kids Will Love
In a day and age where you can easily buy everything you need to make your very own professional-grade fairy garden, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by how expensive Fairy Gardens can be to create.
But it doesn’t have to be!
When in doubt, just think about the most famous fairy of all…Tinkerbell!
What would Tinkerbell do?
She’d gather up any Lost Thing should could find, add some creativity, imagination, love and of course Pixie Dust, and….
Voila! She’d have the perfect Fairy Garden.
In the past, I’ll admit I might have gotten a little over-exuberant in my quest for the perfect fairy garden and gone a little overboard only to sadly see the pieces break apart over the cold rain and ice during the winter. So this year, I’m on a quest to create the perfect “budget-friendly” fairy garden that won’t break the bank.
I’ve been busy researching lots of creative ideas and today, I’m sharing my findings with you.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for my big Budget-Friendly Fairy Garden Reveal. But until then…here are some great ideas that I found inspiring and I hope they’ll help you as well.

Fairy Garden Idea #2: Make a teepee with branches.
Do you remember that scene in Saving Mr. Banks, where P.L. Travers has a flash back to playing in her yard as a child where she would spend hours making magical little leaf and twig structures? Well, this next idea reminded me of that. It’s so important to get away from screen time, get outside, play in the mud, and be an old fashioned kid. And I love how making a teepee out of twigs/branches encourages that. PLUS, according to Angie from Real Life at Home, it’s very strong and lasts a long time!
