Easy Slushy Pineapple Cosmo Recipe
This Easy Slushy Pineapple Cosmo Cocktail is so refreshing on a hot summer day. It’s smooth and cool—very reminiscent of the classic Cosmo but with a fun summertime twist, thanks to the pineapple. Make a big batch or single serving—both are super simple.

I just LOVE pineapple in the summertime, especially in drinks.
From my super popular LIFE OF THE PARTY COCKTAIL to HEALTHY MORNING SMOOTHIES, there’s just something deliciously refreshing about adding pineapple to beverages in summertime.
Heck, I even love pineapple in my herbs—like Pineapple Sage.
Have you tried it? It’s delightful. I love to use it in my special Sexy Mama Mojito cocktail.
So as many time as I’ve made pineapple cocktails, I realized this year that I’ve never posted about Frozen Pineapple Slush cocktails, which are an absolute must for summer!
Why I LOVE this Frozen Pineapple Slush Drink
This Frozen Pineapple Slush Cosmo is so smooth and refreshing. It’s very similar to traditional cosmo but more slushy and…of course…it’s got the PINEAPPLE.
You can, of course, use a blender to make your frozen bevy, but sometimes it’s just easier to mix in a dish and set and forget!
Easy Peazy.
Yes Please!
And MY FAVORITE PART–because it doesn’t use ice, the slushy is nice and smooth without hard chunks of ice that can break your teeth.
How to make this Easy Slushy Pineapple Cosmo Cocktail Recipe
This is a great make-ahead cocktail.
Just mix all ingredients in a freezer-safe container and freeze until it’s reached your desired level of slushiness.
Remember, the alcohol will not freeze, just the fruit juice which is why this turns into an easy slushy.
I’m listing the measurements for this recipe in “parts” because then it’s easier to expand for larger portions.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts Vodka
- 1 part citrus liqueur like Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 8 parts pineapple juice (for a single serving, the Trader Joe’s 8 oz cans are perfect)
- ¼ part freshly squeezed lime juice
Steps:
Combine all ingredients in a freezer safe container. Cover and set in the freezer.
Depending on your level of desired slushiness, you can leave it for 3 hours or more, six hours is probably optimal.
Here’s a picture of what it looks like at 3 hours.
When you feel it’s ready, scoop into a large glass and enjoy!
Mmmm–look at that cool, icy slush. (And no hard ice chunks.) Sooo refreshing on a HOT Summer Day!!!
