Pineapple and Mango are important Super Foods
Did you know that pineapple and mango are very important power foods?
Pineapple is packed with the mineral manganese (which promotes bone health and antioxidant defense) as well as Vitamin C and thiamin (a form of Vitamin B) which promotes energy—Great for Tired Moms, right??! It also contains bromelain which helps in digestion, anti-inflamation, and eye health. (For more on the health benefits of pineapple visit Live Science).
Mango has similar health benefits as pineapple but also helps with asthma prevention as well as breast, colon and prostate cancer prevention (due to the high beta carotene). The high amounts of Vitamin A help with skin and hair and the high fiber content helps with digestion and fight diabetes.(To learn more about the health benefits of mangoes visit: Medical News Today).
