My Visit to Frontgate Atlanta – Intelligent Design Meets Intelligent Style

At first glance, Frontgate may seem like any other high end home furnishings store.

Beautiful furniture, sparkling centerpieces and glassware, relaxing bedroom pieces…However, there is more than meets the eye at the new Frontgate Atlanta.  Much More! (…as I learned this past week at the Frontgate Atlanta Media & Blogger Preview for the grand opening of their new Atlanta Flagship store.)

 Frontgate believes your personal story starts at home and to help you in that endeavor, they’ve created beautiful home furnishings and decor that not only turn your house into a home but your moments into memories.   So many of their products are crafted, not just with traditional form and function-but also with Intelligent Design.   (Keep reading for more on some of these hidden gems!)

They also understand that home furniture shopping can be draining, so they’ve designed their store to make you feel as if you’re just walking around your own house.  With a complimentary bistro bar to a free design consultant station, and beautiful outdoor patio for grilling demos, Front Gate-Atlanta wants you to feel as comfortable and inspired as possible.

How Frontgate Atlanta meets the needs of all design styles

As you make your way around the store, you’ll notice all the disparate design collections are beautifully and seamlessly interspersed…displayed organically as they would in an actual home.

Take this bedroom display, for example.  It mixes 3 different bedroom collections combining metal, wood, nailhead and fabric to create a unique look that speaks to cosmopolitan, classic, and cozy European countryside tastes.

Throughout the store, you’ll see mixed metals combined with vintage or modern or rustic luxe… or cozy hygge-inspired pillows and throws (both machine washable-yes, please!) and indoor/outdoor elements combined together to create a design feast for your senses where everyone can find something that suits their tastes.  It’s perfect for couples with different design preferences or someone like me who just loves everything and is never sure how to make it all work.

And as you try to take it all in, you can wander over to the bistro bar found in the middle of store.  Relax on the couch with complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee, and light snacks from the bistro bar… as you let the inspiration settle.

The bistro bar will also be the site of future food and beverage demonstrations throughout the year.

Products with Secret Features (Intelligent Design)

Many of the Frontgate pieces are designed with Intelligent Design, meaning they have modern technology built in to make them more efficient or functional.

Tyler Thompson, from Frontgate, gave me a tour of some of his favorite examples.

Or you might find a vintage-style lamp that comes complete with a usb port.
